Recycle Microchip Motor Drivers:BDC,BLDC,Stepper,Servo
Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd. is a globally renowned electronic component recycling company. Through our professional recycling services, we help clients realise the value of their idle electronic components. With our strong financial standing and comprehensive service system, we have earned the long-term trust and cooperation of numerous manufacturing clients and traders.
Recycling Process:
1. Stock Classification and Submission of Inventory List
Clients should first classify their idle stock, clearly labelling the model, brand, date of manufacture, quantity, packaging type and condition. A detailed inventory list may be submitted to our valuation team via email or fax.
2. Professional Valuation and Quotation
Upon receipt of the list, our company will complete a preliminary valuation and provide a quotation within 24 hours.
3. Contract Signing and Logistics Arrangements
Once both parties have agreed on the price, a formal recycling contract will be signed to clarify the transaction details.
4. Goods Inspection and Prompt Payment
Upon arrival at our warehouse, the goods will undergo a final quality inspection. Once the inspection has been passed, we guarantee payment within three working days to ensure the customer receives their funds promptly. Flexible payment methods include wire transfer, cash or other arrangements tailored to the customer’s requirements.

Microchip’s motor control portfolio covers brushed DC (BDC), brushless DC (BLDC), stepper motors, servo motors. Leveraging integrated power driver ICs, dsPIC® digital signal controllers, PIC32/SAM series MCUs and PolarFire® FPGAs, in conjunction with the motorBench® graphical development tool, Microchip provides integrated hardware and software solutions ranging from discrete gate drivers and integrated H-bridges to multi-axis closed-loop servo systems, suitable for high-reliability applications such as industrial automation, automotive electronics, humanoid robots, AGVs, drones and medical equipment.
I. Brushed DC Motor (BDC) Drive Solutions
BDC drives are centred on the H-bridge topology. Microchip’s integrated full-bridge and half-bridge driver ICs support forward and reverse rotation, PWM speed control and braking control, whilst featuring built-in overcurrent, overtemperature and undervoltage protection. With a simple architecture and low debugging threshold, they are well-suited to low-cost motion systems.
Core products include multi-channel half-bridge and dual-channel full-bridge drivers, supporting independent control of single or dual brushed motors; speed control logic can be implemented in conjunction with low-cost PIC or AVR MCUs.
Key features: Supports bidirectional commutation, PWM current limiting and low-power sleep mode; versions manufactured using SOI technology offer excellent immunity to interference;
Typical applications: Car windows, seat adjustment systems, water pumps, small conveying mechanisms, smart home actuators and auxiliary drive units for automated equipment.
II. Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) Drive Solutions
BLDC solutions are categorised into three types: gate driver SBCs, three-phase pre-drivers and integrated power drivers. They support six-step square-wave drive and FOC (Field-Oriented Control), and are compatible with both Hall-effect (sensed) and back-EMF (sensorless) feedback methods (BEMF zero-crossing detection), offering lower operating noise, higher energy efficiency and a longer service life.
Representative devices include the ATA6847 series of three-phase gate driver SBCs, which integrate operational amplifier current sampling, power management and diagnostic protection. When paired with dsPIC33CK and SAM series 32-bit MCUs, they enable high-speed, high-stability control; the high-voltage gate driver series is designed for high-power industrial BLDC applications.
Key features: three-phase half-bridge drive, sensorless FOC, current-loop closed-loop control, fault diagnosis, support for CAN/LIN industrial buses;
Typical applications: power tools, cooling fans, drone propulsion, pumps and valves, humanoid robot joint modules, high-speed actuators for automated equipment.
III. Stepper Motor Driver Solutions
Covering unipolar and bipolar stepper drivers, supporting full-step, half-step and microstep resolution, these solutions are available in two configurations: integrated microstep stepper driver ICs and MCU-controlled systems. They support both open-loop positioning and encoder-based closed-loop stepper control, resolving issues such as resonance and missed steps, whilst enabling controllable positioning accuracy.
Based on dsPIC33 DSC, PIC32MK and SAM Cortex-M core MCUs, these solutions enable high-resolution microstepping and smooth acceleration/deceleration curves; when paired with the IGLOO2 FPGA, they support multi-axis synchronous stepper control.
Key features: microstep resolution, adjustable current decay mode, acceleration/deceleration profile planning, closed-loop anti-step-loss, multi-axis synchronisation;
Typical applications: 3D printing, CNC engraving, barcode scanning equipment, fluid metering valves, and precision displacement platforms for automated equipment.
IV. Servo Motor (PMSM Servo) Drive Solutions
Microchip’s servo solutions are designed for permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) servo motors, featuring high-performance closed-loop vector control. Utilising the dsPIC33A/CK and PolarFire SoC FPGA as control cores, and combined with three-phase gate drivers and high-resolution encoder interfaces (resolvers, incremental and absolute encoders), they realise position-loop and speed-loop – current loop triple-loop servo control, delivering fast dynamic response and high positioning accuracy, whilst supporting multi-axis synchronous motion control.
The FPGA solution offers nanosecond-level deterministic latency, making it suitable for multi-axis servos, robotic joints and high-end machine tools; the dsPIC solution strikes a balance between cost and performance, serving as the mainstream choice for small and medium-sized servos, and supports industrial real-time buses such as EtherCAT.
Key features: FOC vector control, three-loop closed-loop control, high-speed encoder interfaces, real-time bus synchronisation, safe torque off (STO), and optional ASIL functional safety versions;
Typical applications: industrial servo drives, collaborative robots, humanoid robot joints, machine tool feed axes, AGV drive systems, and precision medical motion platforms.
V. Selection Summary
- BDC (Brushed DC): Suitable for low-cost, simple commutation and speed control; ideal for low-speed auxiliary actuators
- BLDC (Brushless DC): Suitable for long service life, low noise and high efficiency; the preferred choice for fans, power tools and small to medium-sized power units
- Stepper motors: Open-loop positioning / low-cost closed-loop positioning; suitable for low-speed, high-precision displacement applications
- Servo motors: High dynamics, high precision and high-speed continuous control; ideal for robots and high-end automated motion platforms
